Day 1:

( Arrive Bhubaneswar)

Assistance at airport & transfer to Puri.  Afternoon visit of  Puri Jagannath Temple, beach, market. Overnight at Hotel in Puri.

Day 2:

(190 kms)

After breakfast drive to Ratnagiri en route visiting Konark Sun temple, Dhauli rock  eddicts,  Overnight at Ratnagiri.

Day 3:

Full day visit of Ratnagiri, Lalitgiri, & Udaygiri   Buddhist ruins  and excavation sites  of ancient stupas-chaityas, Overnight at Ratnagiri.

Day 4:

After breakfast drive back to Bhubaneswar en route visiting Languli hill, Lunch at Bhubaneswar , After lunch Bhubaneswar Sight seen and  Overnight.

Day 5:  (180 kms)

After breakfast drive  to Gopalpur on sea  en route visiting Chilika lake, famous for migratory birds. Overnight at hotel in Gopalpur.

Day 6:

(150 kms- 3 hrs drive)

After break fast drive  to Srikakulam en route visiting Tree Kalinga temple(Sree Mukhalingeswara Temple 11th Century). Afternoon visit Salihundam Buddhist site ( Hinayana & Bhajrajana) near Srikakulum . Overnight at Hotel in Srikakulam.

Day 7:

(100 kms 2 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Vizag on the way visiting  Buddhist sites in and around Vizag, mainly PavuraluKonda, Thotlakonda & Bhavikonda of Hinayana Budhhism. Overnight at Hotel in Vizag .

Day 8:

(50 kms 1hr drive)

After breakfast visit of Buddhist sites in and around Sankaram known as  Bojjahakonda ( Mahayana Buddhism). Afternoon catch the flight for Vijaywada. Overnight at Hotel in Vijayawada .

Day 09:

Kondapalli – (100kms 2hrs)

After breakfast  visit Jagayyapet Buddhist site  of ancient ruines of Stupas & Chaityas .Later visit Kondapali fort build in 14th century and inhabited upto end of Mughal rule in 18th Century. Overnight Vijayawada.

Day 10 :

Vijayawada-(220 kms 4hrs drive) :-

Full day excursion of Ghantasala, Guntupalli Mainly Buddhist site & Museum and villages.Ghantasala was once a flourishing town of Indo-Roman trade as well as an important religious centre. The Buddhist relics and the Hindu structures at the place reveal its past glory. Carved limestone columns belonging to pillared halls associated with Buddhist monastic establishments (2-3rd centuries BC ) have been discovered. The ruined MahaChaitya or stupa that was excavated here is of a unique design.Guntupalli isfamous forThe rock-cut part of the site having twoBuddhist caves, a chaityahall and a large group of stupas. The chaitya hall has a rare carved stone entrance replicating wooden architecture,During excavation, three reliccaskets were found.The caskets had many precious elements like gold, silver, crystal beads. The bronze image of Padmapani was found along with one of the caskets. The inscription on the casket was in theDevanagariscript which indicates the year as from the 9th to 10th century. Overnight Vijayawada.

Day 11:

Vijayawada – ( 120kms 2.5hrs):

After breakfast visit to Amravati .The Amravati Stupa, popularly known as the great stūpa at Amravati, is a ruined Buddhist monument, probably built in phases between the third century BC. Amareswara Swamy or Amaralingeswara Swamy refers to Lord Shiva in this temple. The temple is situated on the southern bank of River. The consort of Lord Amareswara Swamy is Bala Chamundika. As the mythology says that the Sivalinga at this place is installed and established by Lord Indra.Overnight Vijayawada.

Day 12 :

After breakfast Assistance & Transfer to airport  for connecting flight to Hyderabad, Afternoon visit Salar jung museum & Laad Bazar. Overnight Hyderabad.

Day 13 :

Morning visit to Charminar, Golkonda Fort & Qutubsahi Tombs. Evening trandfer to airport for onward journey.
