Birapani Festival :-This festival is made by Paraja tribe to predict rain in the coming monsoon for rice cultivation. In this festival the tribal people worship long poles by offering different fruits and sacrificing goats, chicken etc. After that they carry the poles in a trance to a nearby hill. In the middle of the hill there is a hole , where these people throw eggs and chickens and later pierce & thrash the poles to the hole rigorously. After sometime water comes out from the hole. According to the flow of the water the priest forecast how much will be rain in this monsoon.

This village is 5 kms distance from Jeypore town in Odisha and it is held on last week of May or 1st week of June.

Day – 1 : Arrive Vizag

After arrival Vizag airport assistance and Visit to Fishing Harbour , Submarine museum , RK beach and Thotla Konda Budhhist Ruines. Overnight at Hotel in Vizag

Day- 2 : Vizag - Semiliguda

After breakfast drive to Semiliguda en route visiting Simhachalam temple and later visiting Mali & Paraja tribal villages. Overnight at Hotel in Semiliguda.

Day-3 : Semiliguda - Nandapur - Semiliguda

Post breakfast drive to visit Nandapur weekly tribal market, After lunch visit to Jaina Ruins at Subai of 11th Century, O/N Semiliguda.

NB :- This day must be starting of Birapani Jatra for tribals & Shitala Sasthi Festival by Odia Calander.

Day-4 : Semiliguda - Unukudali - Semiliguda

Post breakfast drive to visit Unukudeli market of most primitive tribal people the Bondas and the Gadabas. Overnight Jeypore

Day- 5 : Semiliguda ( Birapani Festival Day)

After breakfast drive to visit Gadapadar village to enjoy Birapani Yatra tribal festival. This festival runs upto late evening. Later come back to Jeypore for overnight stay.

Day- 6: Semiliguda - Vizag

Post breakfast drive to Vizag en route visiting the Tribal Museum, Coffee Museum, Bora Caves, Coffee plantation on Araku valley . arrive vizag and check into hotel. O/N at hotel Vizag.

Day- 7 ; Vizag Departure

Departure Transfer.to airport for onward journey.

• Advance 50% payment to book your seat
• 100% balance payment at least 30 days before the commencement of tour
• Refund policy in case of cancellation:
• 80% of total cost if cancelled 60 days or more before the commencement of tour
• 50% of total cost if cancelled 30 days to 59 days before the commencement of tour
• 20% of total cost if cancelled 16 days to 29 days before the commencement of tour
• No refund if cancelled 15 days or lesser before the commencement of tour

Date of cancellation will be the date of written (email) communication of intent to cancel, received by us. Refund amount will be calculated excluding the date of commencement of tour.
